Thank you all so much for the hard work and effort you put in to hosting our wedding
reception on the 19th May 2007. Not only did the main room for our wedding breakfast
look perfect, but the meal was delicious- as commented on too by all our guests.
(please give our compliments to your chef, again.)
The recommended house DJ was great entertainment on the evening - it certainly had
all the guests up and dancing, and the casino in the extra room proved to be a fantastic
addition through-out the night. Not only was the atmosphere great but the staff and
yourselves were so friendly not just to us, but everyone in our party which really made
our wedding day the perfect day it was.
In future we shall be recommending Blackwell Meadows to our family and friends, but also
hiring the facilities again for future functions, including our son's christening party next year.

Please can I thank you, on behalf of Jill and myself, for the excellent service that
Blackwell Meadows provided for the President's Ball on Saturday 27th January. The meal
was superb and I was proud to receive many plaudits from friends who were dining at
Blackwell Meadows for the first time. The service by the Blackwell Meadows team was,
as usual, efficient and friendly and much appreciated by all of the guests.
The cabaret was a great success and they were grateful for all of the help and support
they received in accomodating the rehearsal session and setting up for the evening.
The layout of the room proved to be ideal for the evening and I appreciate your advice
and guidance for the evening. We were able to raise £1000 for St. Teresa's Hospice on
the evening and also have a superb night out with good food and entertainment.

Many thanks for all your help and assistance with our Year 11 Prom . The evening itself was
a huge success and once again your venue came up trumps . The students all enjoyed their meal
and the disco which followed was appreciated by all . I have spoken to the member of staff who
will have responsibility for this activity next academic year and recommended to him that he
gets in touch with you as soon as possible to ensure that we can have access to your facilities
next May .

Firstly apologies for the lateness of this letter but just to say a big thank you to all the
staff involved in helping host my Mother's 80th Birthday party on 21 April 2007.
The food, drink, and exemplary service and not least the organisation and set up of the
function room need commendation and helped make for quite a memorable evening. As someone
who has worked in catering previously I am very aware of how important all these elements
are to hosting a successful function and in all these aspects everyone involved played their
roles with efficiency and good nature often lacking in the catering profession these days.
